I really like LibraryThing. I like getting recommendations from others about good books to read and seeing other people who have read exactly the same books as me.
Snarlyyow's LibraryThing
I hadn't heard of LibriVox before. Found a few books on there that I would be interested in.

Task 8 and 9 RSS Feeds
I have set up Google Reader and Bloglines in the past and I don't like them very much.
I don't find them viewer friendly. Google Reader claims "It's just like reading a magazine". I beg to differ!
I much prefer to just bookmark sites I like and go back and visit them when I feel like it. I quite like alerts and table of contents feeds for things I am really interested in. They pop up in my email account with no effort from me and I can just delete them if I am no longer interested.

Task 7 Comment on Blogs
I enjoyed looking at the different designs that everyone had come up with and their different impressions of the tasks. Sometimes it's nice to know that you are not talking to yourself!

Task 6 Picasa
I do have Picasa on my home computer. I like the way that every time Picasa is opened it goes through looking for photos, images, icons etc that I have downloaded from the internet or uploaded from my camera. So I can always find them by scrolling down through Picasa rather than trying to find which folder or file I have saved them to.

My 23 Things program begins:
First habit I need to develop to be a highly successful lifelong learner -
remembering, writing down or developing some highly sophisticated system to never forget my passwords.
